Computer Technician
Overview:
This course will prepare students to perform every task pertinent to the set-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of a desk top computer. This course is a well-balanced mix of theory and practice, giving each individual student complete and full access to a PC they will assemble, disassemble, configure and install operating systems on throughout the course, gaining full experience on hardware and software setup, maintenance and troubleshooting. In this program the students gain a complete understanding of how a PC operates even if they’ve never used a computer before. Students will actually build a Pentium 4 computer that they get to keep. The course will also prepare students for the CompTia A+ Certification exams.
