- Customer Relations Specialist
Our Customer Relations Specialist program is designed to provide students with skills that enhance their marketability and career path opportunities at many of the area's top employers. South Coast CPD Instructors have assisted students with placement at major Rhode Island employers including, Citizens Bank, Cox Communications, Amica, Bank of America, and CVS. Students are invited to attend career fairs and take advantage of placement assistance as part of this program.
Customer relations is a day in and day out challenge as we spend the majority of our day interacting with co-workers, peers, managers and customers. Striving towards positive outcome means lots of business etiquette and communication skills whether it is projected verbally, non-verbally, in person, by telephone, or in writing. How we affect others in our work-style, communication methods, and projected image can be perceived as either positive or negative. Learn what you project to others, how to best adapt to diversified work styles, and ways to create a more positive, energetic, and productive work environment.
Additionally students will learn computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and keyboarding skills, as well as resume writing, interviewing skills, computer assessment preparation, and how to conduct an effective job search via the internet.
